2025 Season
Arjun's year, Chandler's heartbreak, Drew's rock bottom
Season 1 ended with the best offense in the league holding the trophy and the best all-play record in the league holding second place.
Twelve teams, fourteen weeks, a six-team playoff, and one champion: Arjun, whose My fannin hurts scored 1859.66 points in the regular season, the most in the league, and set the best lineups in the league while doing it. He finished at 93.9 percent of his optimal lineup, first by a wide margin, and left just 119.90 points on the bench all year. Christian McCaffrey (389.20), Puka Nacua (321.10) and Jalen Hurts (276.16) carried him, and he closed the year on six straight wins: the last four of the regular season, a 72.48-point semifinal over Chris, and a 9.10-point championship over Chandler.
The bracket
Kyle was the 1 seed at 12-2 and the luckiest team in the league (+3.36 wins over his all-play record), and he scored 158.04 in the 3rd place game, with Derrick Henry at 45.60, after Chandler ran him off the field 160.00 to 111.30 in the semifinal. Chandler's run was the story of the playoffs: a 5 seed at 8-6 who played perfect lineups in both the quarterfinal (133.08 over Sam B) and the semifinal, then lost the final 147.50 to 138.40 with 16.70 points left sitting. Chris, the 3 seed, got 45.60 from Kyle Pitts in a quarterfinal rout of Lauren, then scored 91.52 and 80.58 in his last two games and finished fourth. Sam B took 5th over Lauren, who finished 6th and took the last playoff spot with the 10th-most points in the league.
The unlucky
Chandler went 8-6 with a 112-42 all-play record, the best in the league, and a season that said he should have won about ten games. He left 315.16 points on the bench, also the most in the league, and lost four games his optimal lineup would have won. Patrick was the other half of the mirror: 4-10 with the 4th-most points, the second-best lineup efficiency and three perfect lineups, and a luck rating of -3.36, the worst in the league, which is exactly the inverse of Kyle's +3.36. Patrick also absorbed the biggest loss of the season, 186.30 to 68.12 to Arjun in week 14.
The bottom
Drew finished 3-11 and last, with six losses his optimal lineup would have won, the most in the league by a lot, and the season-low 42.52 in week 11. Justin Herbert scored 185.16 on his bench. Mike went 4-10 and left 286.44 points on his bench, third most, then won two consolation games to climb to 8th. Sam O finished with the fewest points in the league (1410.94) and the lowest lineup efficiency (81.9 percent). Bryan lost six straight from weeks 2 through 7 and finished 10th.
Names of the year
Kyle's Milk Destroyer survived into 2026. So did Caleb Nation and Drewa Lipa, which is remarkable considering Drewa Lipa went 3-11. Mike's RIP Skattebone did not. Ex's Milking the Clock finished 7th and, with a 77-77 all-play record, was exactly as average as a team can be.
Season 2 started with the champion renaming his team twice and the 3-11 team starting 3-0. It has already been a weird year.
